Rock On!!

We spent the day introducing our friends daughter to various aspects of the countryside around us.
The day took in Red Rocks Amphitheater, Loveland Pass and the Continental Divide where the first of
this seasons snow has arrived, Lake Dillon and the Eisenhower Tunnel in what turned to be a 200 mile
drive in 8 hours. For anyone unfamiliar with Red Rocks, take a trip down memory lane and watch U2s
Under A Blood Red Sky!
I liked the mix of the natural rock and the buildings, and you can just read 'Red Rocks' over the door.

A most unusual place, Dave, but composed well against that sky.

Don't completely wear out the poor girl Dave! Been looking at photos of these places on the internet, and now know all there is to know about the tunnel!
