The Last Light Of Summer

We spent the morning at Roxborough State Park, then decided to return before the park closed at 7pm
when we suspected we'd more likely to see some wildlife. Below is a shot of some Mule Deer we were
lucky enough to see. From our perspective this was the last light of summer, with autumn officially
with us tomorrow!!

Thanks again MOG. Actually I do shoot in RAW and adding the two stops you've suggested kills this shot, bringing out pointless detail when the emphasis was the last light.
With regard to the deer picture, it's not back focused, because if it was the back would be in focus and not the deer. The problem with the picture was very poor light, a slow shutter speed because of that, and the movement of the subject relative to the shutter speed.
As I've stated previously, please make sure you know what you are talking about before sounding so confident.

One word (in the form of 12 words): Shoot in RAW and work the exposure problems out in post, dood. It's that, or learn more about _proper_ exposure and dynamic range. There is room for two or three stops in the sky and WAY too many in the foreground - it's a mess. The deer picture is back-focused, too...though cute. Your Friend, MOG
