A Lot Of Nothing

We decided to drift east into the Great Plains. Find a road head east and keep going until you get
somewhere or get bored. We got to about 80 miles and decided enough was enough, although it was
interesting to end up where tornadoes are often reported on the news!!!!
This was taken looking west towards the Rocky Mountains. You can just make out Pike Peak (behind
Colorado Springs) under the cloud about 50 miles away!

Reminds of some road in Texas where you can just lock the steering wheel down and take a nap at 60mph for a while. Nice shot Dave.
