The Storm Arrives

The clouds over the foothills earlier today (see below) developed into a hell of a storm. We had
driven east and found a great vantage point to watch the lightning striking every few seconds. You
could see the rain coming down in patches across the foothills and at one point we were convinced we
saw a small twister. Another motorist stopped where we were to ask if we'd seen the same thing, so it
seems we may have seen one, rather than it being wishful thinking.
All in all the skies today were superb.
