"We traveled on and stopped for a pleasant drink (if a rather warm bitter lemon) as the sun set at Oturkpo. The road had by now turned excellent - wide and tarred. Fred likened it to driving in the United States. We had trouble finding a campsite and finally pulled off the road at about 9.30 pm and fell into bed…."
