Old Friends

How can I possibly throw them away? They've served me well.
They fit perfectly. Sure, there are some small holes in the
heel, and the inside lining is curling up, and they don't
take a shine like they used to. So??????

How can I throw them away???

The light that defines the subject contrasty, nicely managed and beautiful colour.

There's no shoe like an old shoe... Terrific work Gary--and I'd definitely keep 'em.

What size are they?

Glue on the lining and Shoe Goo on the heel holes, and they're ready for another few years of service.

In Oxford the richest folks have the most worn out shoes and clothes! Keep 'em and pretend you're an English eccentric! I'm planning to get away with that when I visit USA!

What matter is the sole, no matter the holes. Keep them!

If I were you, I would frame them and hang them in my room ;-)
Very well done shot. Great light.

It's hard to part with comfortable shoes. New ones just don't feel good for awhile, so I feel your pain :^O Excellent shot, well composed and lit!

Don't throw them away! Good worn in shoes that mold to your feet are the best kind! They don't look that bad! Great shot, by the way!
