Coopersburg werd in 1980 geheel gerenoveerd en overgedragen aan de Woningbouwvereniging, nu Woningstichting Friestins. De 20 woningen worden nu bewoond door één- en tweepersoons huishoudingen. Zowel jongeren als ouderen.
