This Worked

Got my Impact Multi-Boom Light Stand today. Waiting for a new Softbox. The hair light here and backlight on the floor are triggered by optical sensors which can be had for as little as $5 + shipping on eBay. The two Canon flashes bounced off the umbrellas are triggered by the Canon ST-E2 on the camera. The next picture was taken with this setup and the ceiling fluorescents turned off. The black legs shown partially at the right are holding a silver reflector which I set there to reflect the light at the optical sensor of the flash on the floor under the table. It's a Vivitar 283 and I couldn't mount it with the sensor facing the light from the umbrellas. (Of course, it probably is triggered by the hairlight!) Still working on unraveling all the mysteries of multiple flash lighting. A Bogen Super Clamp is holding the hairlight flash on the boom.

Really nice setup Isabel! I'm looking for a clamp like that on the hair light...you say it's a 'superclamp" but in B&H the superclamp looks different. Is the one you have possibly a "bogan clip clamp"?
Thx

I'm impressed, Isabel. Looks pretty professional to me.
