Selective Color Adjustment

While Janet didn't suggest this I decided to play with the background color by selecting it and then using Image/Adjust/Selective Color/Red/ and moving sliders - I got this color. I believe I moved the magenta slider all the way towards the magenta side and added black. (Click on "previous" to see original color.)

I agree with Robin. This colour is a deeper version red than the previous picture. Think I might need to do a calibration.

I like both colors. This doesn't look chocolate on my monitor....just deeper version of the previous color.

Yes, I like it much better without so much red in it. This makes it look like a rich chocolate velvet.

I think I like this color much better. It looks like a royal color.. Perfect for such a furry prince.
