DVD case cover

I was asked to make a video of our exercise class because our teacher is leaving and we want to try to keep it going while we find another instructor (or continue to work without one). I can print on DVDs with my Epson R800 but the color is not great on the blanks I have, so I decided to put a picture on the case instead. (I also don't want a repeat of the time I broke a DVD burner by printing the disk first and then trying to burn the data...you're supposed to burn the data first so the disk has a chance to dry. The ink swells the surface and it jams in the burner. That was an expensive mistake!) To make the case cover image I measured the paper size from a commercial cover and made a new blank document of that size in Photoshop. I used guides (View/New Guide) to place a vertical guide at 50%, which automatically places it in the middle of the image. Then I opened the image I wanted to use, made it a Smart Object (Layer/Smart Object/Group into Smart Object, selected it and pasted it onto the black cover file, and scaled it to size. Even though I didn't need anything on the back I outlined it so I would know how much to trim off with my paper cutter.

That's what one of the class members named the class. Our exercise regimen is exactly the opposite. We don't even break a sweat! Geared towards older ladies. Our mouths get the most exercise!
