Beegie Smudge

It's a start...my first attempt at smudge painting, as described in this tutorial: http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1006&message=17101687 I'd like to know how to make the chair rungs and eyes more painterly.

Good start Isabel! I think that anuimals are great subjects for this because of the fur. I have the same question you do about doing things like the eyes and chair rungs.
