Used the Magic Wand feathered 20 pixels to make a series of selections of wood and bar and pasted them one at a time over the area with the screw, each time deselecting the selection after copying it to the clipboard, pasting and the using the move tool to cover up another area, flattening the image and then making the next selection, copying that and pasting it, etc. Feathering the edges of the selection helps it blend in.
