Braved the garden in between the incessant showers we're having. The hostas have started to bloom and en masse are gorgeous. One single stalk can be a bit boring so I played with this image, first buzzing all but the unopened bud, which I sharpened. Then buzzed the second of two duplicate layers, applied a sandstone texture and brought through the detail of the bud. Still wasn't exciting enough so I tried another duplicate layer and used the notepaper filter in PS. Border make with edit/stroke.
