Followed Sue W's description of artistic treatment for this lovely image on this image. I've found that artistic manipulations often don't show up well if you do them on large images and them reduce them for showing on the web. Steps taken were buZZ Simplify, unsharp masking to increase contrast, increasing saturation, and then applying sandstone texture.
