I met him at Battleship Cove.
He was inside the Lionfish Submarine,
discussing life onboard a sub.
He served on SEVEN different subs.
He was describing details of life onboard
in detail I had never heard. About
what it was really like in the cramped
spaces inside a little tube at sea.
At first, I thought he was a tour guide,
but then as I was talking to him
I learned that he was there for a reunion.
I have such respect for people that
have lived through things like this.
I would have gone crazy living like that.
But to him, it was just what he did. WOW.
