Lincoln would be proud

The people around me thought I was nuts.
I was waiting for him to swim by me.
He was just swimming in the reflecting pool.
The one right in front of the Lincoln Memorial.
I was laying on my belly on the edge.
I thought it would be an interesting shot.
Just the interesting juxtaposition of it.
A nice goose just paddling around the capitol.
As he came right near me he spread his wings.
I was already focused on him as he raised up.
I popped off two frames and then he was gone.
(the other one his wing blocked the monument)
I could not have planned this one any better.
So as the people around me mumbled about the
crazy guy my sister had the line of the vacation!
"That's my brother" and she said it with pride.
Yes it is.
