Now its funny

Well it isn't funny because of what it is.
It was one of those shots you just take.
I always have a camera in the car or nearby.
And such as it was on this Friday in May.
I have no idea where I was driving.
I have no idea what was going on right then.
However this is funny and interesting anyways.
I didn't get a good shot of the car off the road.
You can just see the back of it over the roadway.
It is the news guy in me that makes me take these.
You never know when you will get something dramatic.
So snap it I did and it just sat on a computer.
It sat there for 21 months until today.
And now today it ends up on my blog.
But why is it here in the first place?
This is the last photo I took before "The Life Project" started.
I took it 2 days before my "ex" asked for the divorce.
I was cleaning out my computer when I found it.
I was a second away from deleting it when I saw the date.
It really got me thinking about things.
I started looking at other pictures around that time.
I am really impressed with how quickly and well I did things.
It really didn't take that long for hope to come to me.
It sure didn't feel like it at the time but Holy Crap it does now.
This project provides me perspective most people don't have.
I can see what I went through by looking at these pages.
They don't wax over the pain or the pleasure of life.
They show it bright and clear for me to see.
It is a record and a road map through it all.
Now this picture becomes part of that chain.
What it represents to me is now here as well.
When the divorce started I thought it was the end.
I had no idea it was just the beginning.
I didn't have the strength to start it.
But I am so glad all this happened.
I had no idea the journey I was about to take when I took this shot.
If I knew where it would lead me I would have jumped onto the road.
But nobody ever knows where everything leads.
And if you did you would miss the lessons along the way.
