Being single rocks!

Ok, a short break from the vacation photos.
I just came across another reason being single rocks.
I am painting my kitchen.
Now you might say "no big deal" but it is a big deal.
I don't need approval for any of this work.
I picked out the samples tonight and started.
A friend suggested to try something in the reds.
I trotted off to the store and picked out 2 I liked.
I brought them home and splashed on some color.
I have 3 sections like this around the kitchen.
Two small ones, and one big one to get the feel.
Now here is the really cool part about it.
I can just leave it like this for a few days.
Nobody is going to bitch about it being undone.
Nobody to complain about the wrong colors.
Just me with the ability to look at them for a few days.
Heck, if I even take a week or two to decide, who cares.
It is simple freedoms like that that make being single cool.
Input is simply input and not a list of demands.
I might even try different colors along the way.
And in case you are curious, I am leaning towards the left.
I think the one on the right is too orange.
Don't want to clash with the cabinets.
And just as a fun note:
If I DID want to clash with the cabinets,
I could do that too.
