Pillow Talk

Sometimes a pillow is just a pillow.
Sometimes a pillow is not just a pillow.
Pillows have a language all their own.
You head rests on them each night.
They must hear your dreams.
The also hear your fears.
I mean they are so close.
So close to your brain and that is you.
It contains so much in there.
How could some not spill out and land on the pillow?
The pillow hears but does not judge.
That is not what a pillow would do.
Instead the pillow gives you a soft place.
No hard corners but just soft smoothness.
Pillow talk and pillow hugs rock.
And that is all I have to say about soft pillows tonight.
