Scripture Cross Clonmacnoise

Co. Offaly / Ireland

This high cross is one of a group of the most developed crosses which are found in several monasteries. It dates from the 10th Century and is subsequent to the first Viking attacks from the Shannon. The round tower behind dates from the same period.

You have a photo of the Scripture Cross with tower in the background at Clonmacnoise and I am wondering if it is possible to get copy for use in St. Georges Church Carrick on Shannon
Many thanks
