Israel has established settlements all over the West Bank, often referred to as "facts on the ground". They have settlements centrally located in Hebron. Palestinians have developed their own terminology to describe the conflict, with foreign activists and commentators adding their own twist. More than 400 Palestinian businesses in Hebron have been closed due to Israeli security measures such as walls and roadblocks. Slogans celebrating Palestinian resistance and denouncing Zionism are often found in such locations.
