Hollister, California

Moonrise was at almost the same instant as sunset making for a rare capture that allowed detail to be seen in the moon!

Your right about this one being timed right. It helps to consult the internet for moonrise/sunset times and loactions.

P.S. Hollister has 2 LL's.

Good results Zane. Just don't give our location away. ;-)

Did we get lucky on the timing or what?!!

It may seem a small thing, but with that pole-barn on the right not reflecting the sun behind you really adds to the composition and balance in the whole shot. Great capture! -V-

Another wonderful shot, perfect exposure, crisp image, even detail in the moon which is usually gone by the time it rises this far.

This is a great shot with the full moon and soft light. Very nice! Voted
