Chair21_75mmHeliar2001.JPG

The raindrops clinging to the underside of this plastic deck chair and the repeating slits in both the deck wood and the chair seat intrigued me when I saw this scene. This is from my first-ever roll of Kodak T400 CN chromogenic Black & white film, which is processed in C-41 color chemistry--just like color print film. What I like about this film is that it SCANS well--far,far,far better than Tri-X does, since it is a dye-based "black and white" film, with fine grain. I still need to work on getting the color down when scanning this particular film. I also like the bokeh the 75mm f/2.5 Color-Heliar lens gives, and am anxious to do more work with this particular lens. I have even considered buying one of these lenses in the just-released Nikon F- mount.
