It rained like crazy last night. This crystal ashtray had been left out on the deck overnight,and the rain had filled it to overflowing when I got up. I shot in Aperture Priority Auto mode, selecting f/9.5 so I'd have enough DOF to capture all of the foreground. I set the exposure to -.5 stop and focused manually,with the lens stopped down,estimating the best point of focus to capture the shimmering water caused by wind and raindrops.
