This climbing rose is a frequent subject of mine. This started out as a Nikon D1 RAW capture,was processed with MacBibble,and then the curves were tweaked slightly,and USM was applied. The manual focusing,AiS series 100-300 f/5.6 Zoom-Nikkor was shot wide open in its 100mm macro-focusing range,and I kind of like the rendition this lens and gives with the diaphragm opening not entering into the picture. Cloudy daylight,handheld from about 4 feet away.
