This is an inexpensive 60 cm square softbox with a recessed face and a velco-in eggcrate made of nylon webbing. This softbox uses short rods,and thus it is fairly shallow from front to back. The eggcrate really does tame the light quite a bit, and when used without the egg crate, the recessed front of this softbox and its smallish 60x60 cm size gives a fairly significantly lower amount of background lighting than the comparable non-recessed front 60x60cm softbox shown in the later stages of this gallery.Considering the low price of this softbox with eggcrate,it's a good value as a light modifier for an inexpensive monolight like the JTL Versalight 300.
