A weekend charity event raised more than $100,000 for the Daniel Morcombe Foundation.

More than 450 people, including Terri and Bindi Irwin, attended the foundation's annual dinner dance and auction at Twin Waters.

Among the items sold were an autographed Steve Irwin uniform, which went for $20,000.

Event organiser Julie Elliott says rare sports memorabilia was also auctioned off.

"There was a Shane Warne bat and ball, I think that went for in excess of $5,000, [also] boxing gloves signed and framed by Costa Tzu [went for] $10,000," Ms Elliott said.

"They were great things to be auctioned and the people in the audience were extremely generous," she said.
