Waiting to go Home.jpg

When I looked at the exif data, I realized my camera was a couple hours slow. This is after the main part of the storm as I was ready to go home. Under the water is a 24" storm drain. I would have really enjoyed the storm if I had been on my porch listening to the thunder and watching it. Standing at work for an hour waiting for it to let up was not quite as much fun after the Corona ran out.

Great composition. It makes a spring thunderstorm look so inviting.

Looks like he's trying to stem the approaching tidal wave. Something very cleansing after a rain, but I don't know about this!

Great photo. It's a lovely composition ... and I like how its framed by the opening and the man's silhouette breaking out into the storm ...

I really MISS this kind of storm. Your image is a great reminder of the fresh smells, the patter and splatter of water, the crash of thunder etc. (we don't do rain storms in SoCal. Thanks... very nice capture.

I really like this pic. I guess because I love rain storms. I like the way it's composed with the gentleman sweeping the water in the left corner.

Looks like summer here in Florida; every afternoon the hot, humid breeze flows up from the south and meets the cool air blowing from the west and DOWNPOUR!!! Hmmmm...Corona and rain. Good idea.

That's wet! But as you mentioned, not as much fun after the Corona ran out...Nice shot...
