Scooters boo-boo

I got that dreaded call from Jen telling me that she was on the way to school - my Scooter-bug had fallen from the monkey bars. First, to the Pediatrician office and then to the Orthopedic Urgent Care for x-rays. She has a buckle fracture and has to wear a splint for 10 days. Scooter, do you think mom will let us decorate your splint – we could tie purple and red ribbons to it. So proud of you and mom. Lots of love, Grandmama
p.s. - doctor has a boo-boo too!

Part of growing up I guess. Harder on the parents / grandparents then the child I suppose. She should be out of the cast by now. Hope everythings ok. (You guys are truely camera bugs). :-)

Ten days is not long at all. Kids heal fast. Deborah, I think you will have to move fast if you want to beat Jennifer to decorating that split.

I'm sure artwork will be sprouting up on that splint in no time. Good to hear it's going to be healed real soon. PS: Pretty rare to see a doctor with a boo-boo! Nice catch! : )
