I know -- flowers are old hat. Still, I think they can make wonderful photos, and, well, somedays you just need a pretty flower. So, be quiet and enjoy your flower. Actually, I learned something when I shot these -- they aren't day lilies; they're just plain (but prettier) lilies. I never realized that day lilies are one-day wonders, while other lilies are multi-day bloomers. (Hey, I also never realized that bloomers weren't always underwear!) One thing I like about flower photos is that they can often be composed/cropped/arranged for images much more interesting than the flower itself. Have I mentioned that it doesn't take much to keep me entertained?
