Maybe this should be called Indecision or, maybe, Andy Worhanging. Actually, I need to do everything in different colors for the latter -- which will probably bring me back to Indecision. :(
PS - Crop; Extract* to separate flower from background; Insert new layer between front and background layers; Fill new layer with something (black, white, gray); Adjust opacity of filled layer (one version only); Flatten; Repeat for each version; Open blank document with twice the dimensions of the originals; Return to each flower version in turn and duplicate the background (only) layer with new document as destination; Go to new document and for each layer, in turn; select layer and move to desired corner of the document. It helps to have snap on. Sign; Downres for Pbase and Frame. Piece of cake.
*Note the the PS Extract function works especially well on most flowers, because they have very distinctive edges, even when in with a bunch of other stuff. Also, I make extensive use of the Smart Cursor/brush, which usually results in a nice, crisp edge.
