9/1/04 - Spiffy Speedy Transport

Dulles International Airport, VA

Recently retired Air France SST. Faster than a speeding bullet (or at least pate through the goose). Lost a little on each transaction; tried to make it up in volume. Beautiful technology, marginal ecology and ergonomics, lousy economics. Pride goeth before the fall?

Never got a chance to ride this little beggar. What a shame.
