Two Kenyans finish the Nortel Networks Cherry Blossom 10 mile race stride-for-stride and within a fraction of of a second of each other. This is technically all that good a picture, but the fact that it catches the two finishers at the exact instant of breaking the tape and with all four of their feet off the ground makes it a pretty good shot. This photo was printed, in color, on the front page of The Washington Post Sports section the day after the race -- my biggest coup to date.
