Have just picked up on your post.By this time you would have been to Yala & returned. I have the same lens as yourself & capyured some excellent images last year in Kenya, Tsavo East. I am visting Yala in July & have hired the canon 28-300is L lens, so will post my images. With that lens ,should get some really crisp, tack sharp shots.

outstanding work! you got some really breathtaking shots. myself and my missus are going to yala in early july. Im an amateur photographer with a canon eos 450 d. I have recently brought a new lens, a canon 70-300 ef with the IS which i hope will be up to the job. you used a 400mm lens right? looks like that extra reach really helps. If you have any tips/advice about shooting in yala i would really appreciate hearing them. Once again, great work.
