One more weir holds up and regulates the freshwater river, beyond which the waterway is tidal. Before us
we see the "rivercat terminal" from where ferries transport commuters and tourists into the Sydney CBD.
I realise that effectively the beautiful Sydney Harbour begins here. A number of people have expressed
interest in joining me from now on .... and why not? What remains of the trek - all 23 kilometres -
will follow the harbourside foreshore from this point on.
