wattle fire wf.jpg

All Blackheathens who live there through winter know what this is and where. If you want to see the
best managed combustion stove fire in Christendom, then come to the Wattle Cafe. Everytime I go in
there, it is as warm as toast and the fire is always running at maximum efficiency.

I meet my wife there for coffee each Monday at noon before we wend our way home. I feel warmer just
looking at this. The changing patterns and colours are quite fascinating and the fact that the
glass door is never quite entirely clean just seems to add to the effect.

Just love the colours, shapes and textures, I'd like this on canvas to warm me up anytime.
Also love to see my initial in the abstract-like flames....
