I'm BAAAAAaaaak. The computer appears to be on the mend. Basically the problem was a hard drive
that was past its use-by date and a bunch of corrupted system files. Am currently restoring data files
and re-installing applications. What fun!!! Some day I hope to get everything working again the way
I liked it. "Oh be quiet Hobbs. Nobody wants to hear you rabbiting on!"

Anyway here I am back with the chrome - part of a magnificent old Ford lorry.
