Speaking of cameras - I'm on a roll now. Here is one of my D80s. The other one is taking the shot.
I use these two when I am doing some sort of job. They have been superseded a few times now but
remain the strongest link in MY production chain. The weakest link? The PHOTOGRAPHER as always. If
there is some total foul up in evidence, it will nearly always be the human operator what did it. :o)
It has always been my contention that if the photographer REALLY works hard on his/her skills, the
camera he/she is using (within limits) doesn't really matter all that much. Give me time .. I'll
get there eventually. :o)

I agree. I had a D70 as my first 'proper' camera, and still most of my favourite pictures were taken with it.
