I just love texture, colour and tone. These precious old mountain hiking boots have just had a
thorough spruce up. I wanted to record how plush they look - for the moment.

It's odd, but the words "texture and colour" flitted through my mind as soon as I saw this, before I read the commentary. A very effective portrayal of both.
