The Olympus OM-10 film SLR hit the markets in June 1979 qnd continued production until 1986. The
camera body measures 136 × 83 × 50 mm and weighs approximately 430 grams (15 oz). It had an
aperture priority meter system but this particular example has the add-on adapter which enabled the
camera to perform shutter speed priority readings as well. It also came fitted with an excellent
Zuiko OM system f1.8, 50mm lens. With the advent of "home computers" like the Radio Shack TRS-80,
the Apple II and similar "sophisticated" devices the marketing dept at Olympus made much of the
fact that THIS camera came with an in-built "computer" in its exposure system. Gasp! The tiny black
badge on the front of the body with its white dotted "computer lights" was intended to indicate the
presence of this advanced device. This camera has always been an absolute beauty and (I am proud
to say) remains in mint condition.
