One final image from the Parramatta River stroll. I have turned around from the last view and am
now facing east. The reserve stops here and I must return to suburbia. While I linger, there's
something about the bend of a river. What lies onward? ONWARD lies the ferry stops of Rydalmere,
Sydney Olympic Park, Meadowbank, Kissing Point, Abbotsford and ever onward toward Sydney Harbour
proper. If I had more time I'd step aboard a ferry and bum around the waterways for a few hours.
My already purchased train ticket can carry me anywhere on the system I would want to go. Maybe the
sense of "time shortage" is a sort of unreasoned reflex that we have all acquired. Damn it. Next
time I'm down here I shall board the Rivercat and just let it ... take me away.
Oh all right then. To board a Rivercat. Click HERE
