This is 4 of 4 in a series of pics I took of US Army vehicles at a static display by a US Army Reserve unit at Laguna Seca Mazda Raceway in Sep 07.
This was one of the historic, original Jeeps produced from as early as 1939 and used wide spread throughout World War II through 1945 and then again in the Korean War 1950-53. Willys is credited for producing the Jeep but other manufacturers including Ford made them too during WWII.
Seems fitting to post a few military vehicle photos in conjunction with Veteran's Day - thanks to all of the brave men and women in the Armed Forces fighting the War on Jihadism (they and they families are making great sacrifices year after year).
