Our new apartment is in this building (the taller red one)also in the West Village.Technically we're two flights up on the left, though the outdoor steps from the street level make it more like three.The building was constructed in 1890.

This building is very Audrey Hepburn. You or David will HAVE to play Moon River with a guitar on that fire escape. Or do what I do, play it with a harmonica...or as they call it in Scotland, the Mouth Organ :)

Well I don´t want to be bird of ill omen, but the fire escape is something it would not let me be in peace, as I would imagine that someone would come up to my apartment, obviously uninvited!
