My friend Rosemarie asked if I am weary photography trips to Yosemite each year. I am not. Yosemite always has something novel to offer me. There is always something I haven't seen before, new ways to think about who I am, and a deeper understanding of my place in the world.
This photograph is a flipped and upside-down image of what I saw in reflection in the waters of the Merced River: the trees along the bank, Yosemite Falls in the background, a sense of color and movement. Some of me is in there, and now some of you, too.
