Little Green Bee-eater (Merops orientalis)

Kefar Ruppin, Israel.

Taken on the Israel / Jordan border fence, where they are usually seen by observers! This one was at Kafar Ruppin. Apparently in Bill Oddie's list of top 10 birding spots, can see why - it's fantastic.
