October 2019, Boyt researchers in Wales examined copies of the original handwritten Bristol Ship Record of 1667. The transcription was inconclusive as Boyte or Boyle. However they did take the above photos and noted another record dated Oct 23,1667 for a John Boyce who may be John Boyte. Morrice Williams bound to John Boyce for five years, Virginia.
Thomas Boyle listed as indentured servant on ship from Bristol to Virginia in 1667.
Indentured for 4 years on October 19, 1667 Agent John Stoakes

NOTE: Researcher, Kory Leland Meyerink, conclude that no families with the Boyle surname are enumerated in IOW or Nansemond County during this time period, name appears to be BOYTE on land patent records:
Handwriting on original land document appears to be BOYTE as scrib does not cross the T on written words. Printed Sources: A Guide to Published Genealogical Records by Kory Leland (page 400) 1998
