I don't think this is a cottage at Brocks Green - more likely to be KISBYS COTTAGE! (Look at the other pic of Kisbys for comparison.)This photo was taken when the roof was being re-thatched, and before other work had been done on it, (by my late Uncle, Peter Freeman,) roughly about the time of the early 1960s. The topiary is where it is in the other picture, taken in the 1970s, I think. The small window by the door has been replaced with a larger window, and the Laurel bush in foreground has been removed. In the more recent picture, the cottage has been whitewashed - in this it is just bare brick. Uncle Peter spent a great many years restoring and renovating his cottage using his many skills......
