Carnegie Museum of Art

During my afternoon break I decided to head outside to poke around the cherry blossoms that I shot towards the beginning of the month. I’m glad I did too as I spotted this Northern cardinal, Cardinalis cardinalis in the trees. It figures the one day I decided to use my EF 28-135 IS lens instead of my longer range zoom…LOL

Of course, I know it’s one of the most photographed birds of all time and also very cliché but it’s the only one I’ve ever shot…LOL

Oh my gosh... Ron this is beautiful. It may be a commonly photographed bird, but not usually in such a glorious setting! Nice!!
