Afin de faire face à l’accroissement de la population et en conséquence à l’extension de la bastide, des enceintes successives ont été dressés au fil du temps pour protéger les habitants des agressions extérieures.
Celle ci est la dernière et la plus ancienne enceinte qui protège le centre de la bastide.


In order to face the increase in population and as a consequence the extension of the bastide, successive walls have been set up over time to protect the inhabitants from external aggressions.
This is the last and oldest enclosure that protects the center of the bastide.
