This Slate-throated Redstart was actively foraging in the cloud forest of Monteverde this past March during our visit to Costa Rica. It took some patience to get a photo as it was constantly in motion; darting around amongst the branches and leaves of a huge tree. Most of our group had moved on to look for other birds when it finally popped out and sat on an open branch for a few seconds allowing for this shot.
